Over the years, Monica’s ability to adapt, problem-solve, and challenge herself turned obstacles into opportunities, eventually shaping her into a Biohacking entrepreneur, wellness advocate, fitness visionary, and national-level figure and bikini competitor. Her story is one of resilience, intuition, and an unwavering commitment to empowering others to look and feel their best
Learning to Believe in Herself
Throughout her life, Monica has taken many bold risks — working on multiple cruise ships in the Hawaiian Islands at just 18, moving to New York City on her own at 19, and becoming the youngest personal trainer and training manager at Crunch Fitness in New York City. Despite her brave exterior, Monica has always wrestled with self-doubt. Negative thoughts often clouded her confidence, making her question whether she was truly capable of achieving her dreams.
“Overcoming my mental battle was the biggest thing I ever did because it was always standing in the way of my rise,” she reflects. “I realized the person I wanted to become was already within me. I just had to work every day to bring that person out.”
This recent epiphany has become Monica’s driving philosophy: success isn’t about waiting for external validation or perfect circumstances. Instead, it’s about finding the tools within yourself and using them to take daily steps toward your goals.
Betting on Herself in the Big City
At 19, Monica moved to New York City determined to break into the competitive world of personal training. Starting at Crunch Fitness, she quickly realized the challenge ahead — building a clientele, learning sales, and proving herself as the youngest trainer at the gym.
“When I started, people didn’t think I was going to be successful,” Monica says. “But I stayed persistent.”
Within a year, her determination paid off: She built a strong roster of clients, became an assistant training manager, and then advanced to training manager, leading a team of trainers — all older than she was. Her ability to meet her own high expectations, like signing a lease for an expensive apartment and calculating exactly how much she needed to earn, pushed her to achieve.
“I figured out how to make it happen. I learned sales, training, and how to build trust with clients all at the same time,” she recalls.
Her dedication was evident in the loyalty she inspired. Clients followed her to new locations across the city, drawn by their results and her relentless positivity and personalized care.
Competing on a National Stage
Monica took that same determination to the stage as an NPC Bikini and Figure competitor. The experience taught her that true winning happens long before the spotlight moment.
“You don’t win the day you step on stage and get the trophy,” she explains. “The winning happens every single day. Even on the boring, mundane days, you have to do the disciplined things that get you to the big goal.”
Always Looking for the Next Challenge
Monica’s entrepreneurial mindset drives her to continually seek new growth opportunities. She recently expanded into the realm of innovative wellness, also know as biohacking, offering cutting-edge services such as permanent non-invasive body sculpting, cold therapy, light therapy, and infrared treatments to her clients — was born out of a desire to help clients overcome the physical and mental stress and roadblocks that come with significant life changes. Monica is also thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of her swimsuit line, designed to capture the essence of feeling your best while celebrating the incredible synergy of fitness and wellness. “This collection features a range of styles created to flatter and empower women who embrace their inner superhero-both for themselves and those around them. It’s all about inspiring every woman to exude confidence and shine with her unique beauty.” I’m also excited to announce the relaunch of my completely reimagined and modernized Fit For Your Wedding program, originally introduced over a decade ago. Designed for today’s modern bride, this integrative program helps her look and feel her absolute best-
not just on her wedding day, but well beyond it.
“There’s always more to discover,” she says. “I value rest and recharge, but I’m driven by the belief that there’s always another level to reach, another way to grow. My work isn’t done if I haven’t empowered others with the knowledge and tools they need to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.”
This balance between ambition and self-care has kept her competitive edge sharp, allowing her to build a business that’s about fitness and helping people feel confident, strong, and ready to take on life’s challenges. “I help women 30+ find their confidence, empowering them with my own weight-loss story and how using modern body hacking methods got me here”.
“You have to work on yourself every day,” Monica says. “The version of yourself that you aspire to be is already within you. You have to bring it out, step by step, day by day.”
