Bridgette Boucha knows what it means to take risks, embrace change, and live life on her terms. Once a corporate CFO, she left the security of her role to embark on a journey of reinvention and entrepreneurship. Today, she’s a fractional CFO, author of her book Money Queen, and mentor to entrepreneurs seeking financial clarity and empowerment.
Climbing the Ladder to Corporate Success
At just 30 years old, Bridgette achieved a career milestone that many dream of — becoming a CFO. It was an extraordinary accomplishment, but the reality of the role wasn’t what she imagined.
As a young woman in a male-dominated field, she found herself hiding her identity, even choosing not to include her photo in email signatures to be taken seriously. Despite the prestige and success, something didn’t feel right. “I wasn’t patient, tolerant, or passionate,” she recalls. “Something was off.”
A rebellious spark kept pushing her toward something more. In 2016, Bridgette made the bold decision to leave her corporate career behind. The life she’d worked so hard to build was no longer enough, and she realized she needed to chart a new course. “Don’t tempt me with a tough decision,” she says. “I might not get there quickly, but I’m going to make the decision that feels right for me.”
Embracing Entrepreneurship and Personal Growth
Entrepreneurship gave Bridgette the freedom to explore new paths and passions. She embraced personal growth and started crafting a business that aligned with her values and the lifestyle she wanted to live.
As a fractional CFO, she discovered a niche in serving scaling entrepreneurs — business owners generating revenue and finding marketing success but struggling with financial frameworks and decisions.
“There’s an underserved market of entrepreneurs who have some cash flow but don’t know how to pay themselves or capitalize correctly,” Bridgette explains. “Money is the fuel for your business; if you don’t manage it well, it can fail.”
Her work goes beyond spreadsheets and balance sheets. Bridgette helps her clients confront the shame and fear often tied to money, offering practical guidance and a safe space to grow.
Sharing Her Mission Through Writing and Speaking
Bridgette’s mission isn’t just about financial success — it’s about living fully. She believes in letting go of societal masks and rediscovering what makes life vibrant and meaningful.
“What makes you credible is not what makes you incredible,” she says. “It’s not about your resume or accomplishments on paper. It’s about letting your human side loose, having more fun, and connecting with others.”
For Bridgette, that means running a profitable business while living a rich, adventurous life — and teaching others to do the same. “We all have life thrown at us in different ways,” she says. “You’ve got to get still with yourself to make decisions that align with you.”
Bridgette’s story is a testament to the power of bold decisions, self-discovery, and living in alignment with your values. Whether she’s guiding entrepreneurs toward financial clarity or inspiring others to embrace their unlived lives, Bridgette proves that success isn’t just about numbers — it’s about building a life that truly matters.
