When Veena Jetti left her corporate career at age 26, she didn’t know she would go on to manage over $1 billion in real estate assets or inspire countless others through her entrepreneurial journey. What she did know was that she wanted to take control of her future.
Today, Veena is an entrepreneur, thought leader, public speaker, and advocate for diversity and inclusion.
Embracing Entrepreneurship: A Leap of Faith
For Veena, the transition into entrepreneurship was both bold and natural. After she expressed dissatisfaction with her W-2 income, her mother, a successful real estate investor, encouraged her to take a leap, start her own company, and dive headfirst into the real estate world.
Her perspective on risk is simple: “The worst-case scenario is I fail, and I can always return to corporate America.” This mindset freed her to take risks that many would shy away from. Today, that leap of faith has become a thriving real estate empire and an inspiring example for others.
Veena now leads a team that manages hundreds of employees across her real estate assets and educational brands.
Making Change: Inspiring Through Public Speaking
In 2015, Veena was invited to speak on her first panel, which sparked a passion for public speaking. Over the years, keynote addresses and podcast appearances have become a natural extension of her career.
As one of the few women in her field, Veena has found unique opportunities to use her platform to inspire and educate others. She has built deep connections with her audience by leading with value and staying approachable. Her relatability often surprises people, who expect someone of her stature to be less grounded. “I’m just a normal person,” she says, a sentiment that resonates with those she meets.
Mindset: Managing Real Estate of the Mind
The world of real estate is known for its unpredictability, and Veena has faced her share of challenges. She credits her resilience to a strong mindset, honed through years of personal development. Working with a high-performance coach has helped her shift from a scarcity mindset to one of abundance.
“The most challenging real estate I manage is my mind,” she explains.
A life-changing moment came when one of her twin daughters was misdiagnosed with an aggressive, cancerous liver tumor as an infant. That experience put everything into perspective for Veena. “In that moment, none of the material things mattered. I would have given it all up for a different diagnosis.” Thankfully, the tumor turned out to be benign, but the emotional impact of that crisis transformed her outlook on life and success.
Legacy: Championing Diversity and Inclusion
At the heart of Veena’s mission is a commitment to creating systemic change in traditionally exclusive spaces. Whether it’s socioeconomic background, race, religion, or thought, she believes diversity is a strength that drives innovation and impact.
“I want my daughters to grow up in a world where they see representation at the highest levels,” she says. “My biggest fear is that they will grow up without living up to their full potential.”
Veena’s efforts to foster equity and inclusion are rooted in her belief that everyone deserves a seat at the table. Above all, Veena wants to leave a legacy of breaking barriers. She rejects the notion of “that’s the way it’s always been done” and is determined to inspire the next generation to think bigger and achieve more.
Veena would love to contribute her relentless pursuit for success to her mindset coach Rosie Noel. Thank you for empowering leaders to thrive with clarity and purpose.
