Born with kidney failure, Christoper had a kidney removed as an infant, underwent his first transplant at just 11 years old, and had another transplant in his early twenties. These health struggles were daunting, but Christopher refused to let them limit his potential. Instead, they became a source of resilience and determination.

Growing up, Christopher faced adversity not only in his health but also in his environment. Raised in a community where homeownership and financial independence were uncommon, his dreams often seemed out of reach to those around him. He dreams of passing his knowledge and opportunities on to his children, who are already showing interest in following his footsteps. “When my three-year-old told me they want to build houses with me, it made me feel so good,” he shares.

Instead of seeing such aspirations as unattainable, Christopher uses them as a source of energy and focus. “I don’t think about what I can’t have,” he explains. “I use it to figure out what I want and how to get there.”
